The Vaughan-Bassett Jamestown Bleached Oak 5-Drawer Chest is thoughtfully designed to provide exceptional storage while showcasing the natural beauty of solid oak. Proudly made in Virginia, this chest is constructed from solid oak and premium oak veneers using durable mortise and tenon joinery for outstanding strength and stability. Five generously sized drawers offer ample space for clothing, linens, and other bedroom essentials, while French dovetail drawer construction and the Kenlin Rite-Trak metal-on-metal drawer guide system provide smooth, reliable drawer operation for years of daily use. The soft Bleached Oak finish highlights the rich grain patterns and natural character of the wood, creating a bright, inviting look that complements farmhouse, coastal, transitional, and traditional bedroom décor. As part of Vaughan-Bassett's commitment to sustainability, a tree is planted through the Virginia Department of Forestry for every tree used in the manufacturing process.
