Hudson's Furniture + Mattress is a family-owned, faith-based furniture retailer with 14 showrooms across Central Florida. Founded in 1981 by Fred and Cathy Hudson in Ormond Beach, Florida, the company is now owned and operated by their twin sons, Josh and Adam Hudson, who continue a family tradition in retail dating back to the 1930s.

Our History

The Hudson family's retail roots began at a general store in Connelly Springs, North Carolina, where the family sold groceries, hardware, furniture, and other essentials during the 1930s. That tradition continued when Fred and Cathy Hudson opened their first Florida furniture store in 1981. Over the following decades, Hudson's expanded throughout Central Florida while remaining independently owned and operated by the family.

Today, Josh and Adam Hudson remain actively involved in daily operations, carrying forward the family's commitment to quality products, personalized service, and lasting customer relationships.
