Hudson’s 3-Year Replacement Plan

Hudson’s 3-Year Replacement Plan covers accidental damage to your furniture in five categories. If you don’t file a covered claim within the three-year plan period, the cost of your plan is returned to you as store credit.

Fabric & Microfiber Upholstery

Coverage includes the following:

  • Household food and beverage stains
  • Stains from human or pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood
  • Burn or singe marks from brief contact with flame or heat in a single accidental incident
  • Ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon, facial cosmetics, or nail polish from a single accidental incident
  • Color transfer from blue jeans or newspaper
  • Punctures, cuts, tears, or rips from a single accidental incident

Top-Grain Leather, Bonded Leather, & Vinyl

Coverage includes the following:

  • Household food and beverage stains
  • Stains from human or pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood
  • Burn or singe marks from brief contact with flame or heat in a single accidental incident
  • Ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon, facial cosmetics, or nail polish from a single accidental incident
  • Color transfer from blue jeans or newspaper
  • Punctures, cuts, tears, or rips from a single accidental incident
  • Cracking or peeling of top grain leather in seating areas

Wood Furniture

Coverage includes the following:

  • Household food and beverage stains, excluding buildup over time
  • Water or beverage marks, stains, or rings
  • Burn or singe marks from brief contact with flame or heat in a single accidental incident
  • Damage from nail polish or nail polish remover in a single accidental incident
  • Scratches, dents, gouges, or chips penetrating the top coat finish from a single accidental incident
  • Peeling of the finish on solid wood or veneer surfaces
  • Fading from sun exposure
  • Failure of assembled joints

Mechanical & Structural Breakdowns

Coverage applies to upholstered furniture in fabric, leather, and vinyl, and includes the following:

  • Breakage of frames, panels, or springs
  • Breakage of reclining, power, or sleeper mechanisms
  • Failure of electrical wiring and components

Outdoor Residential Upholstery

Coverage includes the following:

  • Food and beverage stains, including gum
  • Human and pet bodily fluids, excluding perspiration and body or hair oils
  • Rips, cuts, and punctures from a single accidental incident
  • Burn or singe marks from brief contact with flame or heat in a single accidental incident
  • Cosmetics, suntan oil, and lotion
  • Bleach and caustic solutions
  • Ink, markers, and dyes
  • Breakage of glass tabletops, welds, and umbrella mechanisms
