Shaker Lakes creates a feeling of comfort without sacrificing style, in a transitional look that borrows from several design eras at once. The Cocktail Table sits at the center of that room, with open slatted end panels that let light pass through and keep a generously sized table from feeling bulky. A bottom shelf handles storage and display for books, baskets and trays, while casters let the table roll aside when you need the floor. Angled tapered feet finish the base with a slight lean that softens the lines. Poplar solids with pin knotty maple veneers carry the collection's Harvest Brown finish, a warm, rich tone that reads inviting in almost any decor and works alongside the dark bronze hardware found throughout the group. It is a relaxed, practical centerpiece for a family living room.
