Founded by C. Fred Hudson III, Hudson's Furniture opened its first showroom in Ormond Beach, Florida. Today, Hudson's has grown to include fourteen showrooms and is Florida's largest Broyhill Showcase Gallery. From the beginning, our success has been built on providing customers with outstanding service and a wide selection of quality home furnishings at an extraordinary value.

Our commitment to you, the customer, begins when you first enter our store and continues even after your delivery is complete. Upon visiting our showroom, you will find each showplace displays in home-like room settings, beautifully decorated by a member our professional design team. Whether you are looking for a sofa, lamp or an entire room, you'll find it right here at Hudson's.

C. Fred Hudson

After earning his BS in Finance from Stetson University in Deland, Fred opened his first "Furniture Showroom" in Ormond Beach, Florida in 1982. It was in a small location, in a great market that Fred learned our philosophy of having the best service, selection and most of all the best price on every product that he sold. The customers in Ormond appreciated his honesty, hard work and excellent pricing in his store. He duplicated his efforts by opening "Broyhill by Hudson's" in 1992 in Altamonte Springs, and expanded that operation through the years to include 4 stores in Orlando, and adding 6 more into Tampa Bay, Sarasota and Melbourne. His original philosophy of always having the best service and best price is our driving force to this day. Fred is an avid pilot and spearfisherman, and has been known to participate in any other extreme sport when given the opportunity. He makes his home in Ormond Beach with his wife Stephanie and CFO....Sampson the dog.

Adam joined Hudson's after earning his BS in business in 2005. True to the Hudson work ethic, Adam has served in various positions throughout the company including managing several locations over the last few years. With the gaining importance of the internet, Adam has headed up our online operations which continue to grow each day. Like his father, Adam is an avid pilot, and enjoys a game of tennis or golf whenever the opportunity arises. He makes his home in Ormond Beach with his wife Marie...and we all await for a third generation of Hudsons!!

After graduating from UF in 2004 with a BS in Business, Josh joined Hudsons serving in all departments and managing several store locations. Currently, Josh is involved with the executive team to guide the direction and vision of all of our store locations. His talent is systems and efficiency allows us to constantly move forward in providing the best price to our customers. Josh is also a pilot and loves watersports. Josh makes his home in Ormond Beach.

Sampson - CFO

Sampson has been part of the Hudson's family for over 10 years, but despite his age goes to the office every day to provide advice and support to the owner/president Fred Hudson. As CFO, you will see Sampson's image on the back of all of our trucks, and visits our stores regularly to check on the staff and lick all of our welcome guests. Sampson makes his office on a comfy loveseat in the corporate office, and his door is always open....provided you have a biscuit.
