The convex woven veneer back of the Wickham Chair offers a compelling argument for floating the chair in a room. Drama is evident from every angle. From the front: cozy cushions to cradle you in comfort as you relax while conversing with family and friends. From the side: shaped, modern arms and a base that terminates in gently tapered feet, both built from exposed wood. And from the back: a basketweave design crafted from bands of thick cut veneer, intricately woven in the same fashion as fine fabrics. The exposed wood is finished in a natural linen-white glaze that can be complemented by the fabric of your choosing. With a wide assortment of colors and patterns, this chair can be upholstered to fit your home’s design needs specifically. From every angle, the Wickham Chair from Road To Canberra is a must. Inspired by Australia’s rugged beauty and indigenous style, Road To Canberra blends Aussie attitude with distinctive contemporary design. The unique look of woven veneer is accented by a remarkable blend of natural materials like honed travertine, woven lampakanai, rattan, aged metal, woven leather, and petrified wood.

Quartered Ash is finished in a light natural tone with a soft linen-which glaze that highlights the grain. Upholstered seating features a rich palette of colors and textures including Aboriginal patterns, hand-embroidered linen, natural wovens, and supple leather. A soft neutral color palette is punctuated with hues of spicy cinnamon, deep umber, and golden saffron.
